About Love Treorchy

In November 2019, Treorchy town centre businesses voted in favour of establishing a Business Improvement District (BID), a business-led and funded initiative that invests its resources in matters that are priorities for our businesses. Love Treorchy will deliver services above and beyond those currently provided by the borough council; this additionality is fundamental to the way in which the BID works and is ensured by a baseline agreement between Love Treorchy and Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council.

We have devised a programme of four strands chosen by our businesses to make the most of this unique opportunity to improve our town: marketing, safety, visibility and accessibility. You can read more about the four strands here.
